So this week is all about creating new goals, focusing on new things you’d like to change or accomplish for the new year and who knows maybe even creating new habits. I am all for new ideas to try out, sometimes they don’t have to be new ideas, just things that i’ve seen on the internet that i wanted to try but never got the chance too, or things that i have tried but didn’t get to finish. So here are a couple of simple ideas, challenges or habits that may be fun to try for the new year. Not only will it give you ideas on things to try but some of these things can grow into bigger things or projects maybe.
One little Word | Ali Edwards started the one little word concept. The idea is you pick a word and focus on that word for the year. You take this word and live with it, you include this word into your everyday life. It’s a word that you focus on incorporating into your life. You can learn more about it here.
365 photos | A photo a day for 365 days. This is something that i have tried but never got around to finishing, it’s definitely something i am looking into accomplishing this year. Keeping my fingers crossed. This is great to capture a little bit of your everyday life daily in a photo.
52 Photos Challenge or Project 52 | This is sort of like the 365 photo challenge except it’s a week at a time, which is easier if you cannot commit to a photo per day. This will be fun if you want to do 52 photos of your home only or portraits or maybe even of your kids, the possibilities are endless.
Project Life | Want to get into scrapbooking but don’t want the fuss of having to think of a layout, get paper, stickers, glue, etc. then this is for you. Document your child’s first year, document your first year married, document whatever you want, it’s all about how you want to go about it. You can make it anything you want it to be, there are so many different kits and all you need is the page protectors, whichever kit you choose, pictures and a pen to start 🙂 learn more here.
52 Week Money Challenge | Okay this one is about money, I don’t know who started this challenge but to be honest this thing is freakin’ genius! I think this is a great way to save for christmas or whatever you want to save for, without feeling like it’s a challenge to save. The chart says it all below:I’m not sure what other challenges are out there on the internet, but these are a few that have caught my attention for the new year. I will be doing the 365, One little Word, Money Challenge and of course my yearly project life. What challenges are you getting into this year? I would love to check out new ideas.
