  • Take a simple walk, breathe in the fresh air and appreciate the beauty of life, even when things can become a little hectic, doing something as simple as taking a long walk to clear your mind from everyday life allows you to go back with a fresh mind and better attitude. Have at least 15 minutes of peace and quiet for the day, or lock yourself in your car.
  • Do not take yourself so seriously, not everyone is judging or looking at you and if they are who cares! It’s your life and you live it the way you please.
  • Also do NOT compare yourself to others, you never know what another person is going through even if their lives look peachy.
  • No one is in charge of your happiness, except you. So if you do not like something, change it.
  • Help the needy and be generous, you will feel great after helping someone who really needs it.
  • Never rely on others, that way you will never be disappointed.
  • Be positive, make people smile, see the glass half full instead of always half empty.
  • Don’t hold a grudge. Life is too short to be upset with someone and hating them. Forgive and move on.
  • Life is not fair, know this and be prepared for the unexpected. Don’t expect perfection.
  • Prayer ….. it has always helped me find peace. Whatever you believe in, just pray or you can lay in bed at the end of the day and reflect on your day what you’ve accomplished and what your are thankful for.
